Chronophobia.

NOUN

1.   An abnormal discomfort concerning time

I don't have a phobia. Well maybe I do, but I'm not diagnosed.

We all have our fears and that's ok!

New year, new me? No. Of course not. I'm the same person as 3 days ago, nothings changed. I wear the same clothes, I own the same items, I still have tea with milk and two sugars.

However. I have changed? My mind set. Not because of a new year, no. But because of events. Events that make you feel fear. Events where you don't know where to go or belong.

It has been a tough start of the year to say the least. Luckily, there's a silver lining.

NOUN
  1. something that offers hope or benefit in a situation that is generally adverse

And so, here is my silver lining:

It's okay to feel fear, to feel betrayed, to not know what the future holds. Why? Because deep down there is everything you need, it might be visible, it might not. But you are equipped with everything you need.

My silver lining is that I have my brain which will generate my ideas and actions. I have my hands, allowing me to type, write and research. I have love and support, a home, a place to be happy and comfortable within.

My fear, along many others is that I am not using my time wisely, there's so many things to do, so little time to procrastinate and I hate to feel like a day has gone by with little to account for.

Therefore, I begin to lead a more productive life, to do as much revision needed to get me to where I need to be, to make good tea and give hugs for those who are having bad days, to walk and exercise more to become healthier as well as eat better; to become a happy, healthier and more positive minded me.

Here's to 2016
